The hammer return springs on these hammers had completely broken, negatively affecting how well the hammers returned to their resting position. Replacing them restores reliability and fast repetition.
A center pin on which the parts pivot had walked out a bit, creating huge amounts of wobble in the parts. Repinning with a tighter pin eliminates unwanted wobble that could lead to playability issues and even part breakage.
